Towcester, England - Sunday 29th August 2010: Ricky Goosey of the UK catches a gust during the World Hovercraft Championships taking place at Towcester race course. Organised by the World Hovercraft Federation, the championships involve drivers from all over the world taking part and divided into different forumlae depending on the power and configuration of their craft. The fastest Formula 1 hovercraft can reach 90mph and use two engines, one for powering the craft forward and the other for lifting it. The course involves a mixture of grass, mud and two lakes, with the hovercraft being controlled by rudders and shifting of the bodyweight of the drivers. For more information see www.whc2010.org.uk.
